Con due nuovi dischi, la berlinese Mary Ocher torna per una selezione di concerti europei dopo le date in Nord America, Regno Unito, Australia e Nuova Zelanda.

Ocher ha spinto i confini tra pop e avanguardia per quasi due decenni, con forme giocose e colorate e contenuti intelligenti che strizzano l'occhio a chiunque ne riconosca i riferimenti culturali e storici. Il suo nuovo album si unisce a una serie di concept album apocalittici e politicamente intesi.

Il nuovo album, acclamato dalla critica, Your Guide To Revolution è una gioiosa ode alla speranza, pubblicato appena sei mesi dopo il suo predecessore, l'audace e sperimentale Approaching Singularity: Music for The End of Time. È stato scelto da The Quietus come "Album della Settimana" ed è entrato a far parte dei dischi preferiti dell'anno di Bandcamp. Ha anche ricevuto il Premio della Critica Discografica Tedesca.

Le nuove registrazioni includono collaborazioni con i giganti del post-rock Mogwai, il compositore Roberto Cacciapaglia, brani dell'arpista fusion Dorothy Ashby e del poeta persiano del XII secolo Omar Khayyam, un omaggio alla pioniera della musica elettronica Delia Derbyshire e molto altro.

Coprono un vasto panorama musicale che spazia dal post-punk, al folk e alle registrazioni sul campo, fino alle composizioni di synth cosmici e alla techno decostruita.
